Timi Biermann

Denver-based teacher, artist, and Chameleon Collective member, Timothea (Timi) is a mixed-media artist currently involved with monotype screen printing and digital media. Inspired by music and her cats, Biermann creates lo-fi art for a hi-fi world. A “P.S. You are Here” grant and Mayor’s Design award recipient, Timi facilitates public art projects for the community to participate in and enjoy. Timi studied at numerous art schools including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Parsons School of Design, Anderson Ranch Art Center, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. In 1995, Biermann graduated with honors from Maine College of Art and holds a BFA in ceramics. She earned an MA in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011. An educator for 23 years, Biermann currently teaches painting and drawing at Thomas Jefferson High School.
