Sometimes I Think It’s a Painting

Group Exhibition by Boulder artists: Alli Gerrish, Jane Oniki, Allisa Davies, Tracey Russell and Boulder aficionado Courtney Cotton. Title inspired by American abstract expressionist Joan Mitchell. As artists we make thousands of artistic decisions to create a work of art with ultimately deciding if it’s done, if it works, is it good, etc.

This group, befriended through classes, shows and Anderson Ranch have a commonality in their work.  Cotton wanted to create more community and serendipitously they all live near each other in Boulder, Colorado.  You know that art can be a solitary endeavor, so these connections are important & meaningful. Please come see the non-objective work of these talented woman, you will have no regrets.
